     Jaime Limon is presenting the new voice of Ranchero style music, introducing his new collaboration of love ballads with “Dejame Asomarme”. Jaime has been bred in the Mariachi music and continues to live through his ancestors by bringing his talents to today’s listeners.  His passion for Mariachi music can be felt through his voice. One will be captivated and mesmerized once they hear this soothing voice of today’s Mariachi music. Jaime has been labeled as the new Romeo of Mariachi music.

      Jaime Limon was born on August 24, 1969 in San Diego, California to parents from Jalisco and Zacatecas, Mexico.  He is the oldest of two. Jaime was raised in the toughest suburbs of San Diego and survived by submissing himself in the Mariachi music.  Jaime went to an all boy private catholic school and was raised by the hands of the Lord which has made him into the man he is today. Jaime graduated and went into Law Enforcement where he resides currently as a Detective for the San Diego Police Department.

     Jaime has been involved in his community for many years giving to less fortunate families and by volunteering his time to young children through his talents. He has done many fundraisers, local and national concerts. Jaime is very excited to use his talent to help preserve the Mariachi music and bring it to a new level and keeping this long lasting tradition alive. Jaime has the ability to not only reach the older generation but the new younger adults by making them proud to be part of this amazing history.
 

     Jaime began his professional career in 1998. He has performed for public officials, sang the National Anthem for the San Diego Padres, performed on  Despierta San Diego (Univision television chanel 17), has been featured live through clear channel communications 93.3, 92.5, 90.3, opened up for Alicia Juarez and Jose Jose. He has had training from the best of the best with Heriberto Molina (El Cura), Rigoberto Alfaro and Ray Avila. Rigoberto Alfaro was so captivated by the man that Jaime is and what he represents as a role model to today’s generation of Mariachi music and his talents that he has produced several songs on this album and has gone as far has doing a next album with Jaime Limon.  Rigoberto Alfaro is a well respected producer and musical arranger for major talents such as Vicente and Alejandro Fernandez, Cristian Castro, Pablo Montero, Jose Julian, Joan Sabastian, Nydia Rojas to name a few.  It is truly a blessing and says a lot about the talents that Jaime possesses to be able to be included in such a line up as listed above.
 

     Jaime is a member of the Latin Recording Academy, Latin Police Officers Association and National Latin Police Officers Association where he has been endorsed and supported by them. Jaime currently can be heard on radio stations such as, 102.9 K-Love, 106.5 La Nueva, and 92.5 Magic.
